Thank You to Our Nurse Practitioners

During the second week of November each year, National Nurse Practitioner Week acknowledges the professional care NPs have given over the past year with appreciation and support for their service. We would like to take a moment to say thank you to the Nurse Practitioners with Symbios Health on the front lines every day helping patients reverse decades of chronic lifestyle disease.

Sarah Malone, MSN, WHNP-BC

Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Sarah is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and has lived in the coastal Georgia area for three years and brings over 12 years of clinical nursing experience to Symbios. She previously served as a Nurse in the United States Army. Sarah graduated from Bellarmine University with a Bachelor’s Degree before earning her Master’s Degree from Austin Peay State University and her Post-Graduate Certificate as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Duke University.

Kelly Ruckno, APRN

Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Kelly is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has lived in the Lowcountry for the past 19 years and has practiced nursing for 25 years. Kelly graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s Degree before earning her Master’s Degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As an FNP, Kelly provides a wide range of family-focused healthcare services to patients of all ages. She works closely with Dr. Luther and primary care patients.

Rachel Mankarios, MSN, AGACNP-BC

ANCC Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Rachel obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis and her Master’s degree from Walden University. She has a background in critical care and emergency medicine. She enjoys serving as a primary care provider for the people in her community, and her desire is to help her patients achieve their health and wellness goals to the highest degree possible.
