Your Best Lips are as Easy as 1-2-3
Time may bring wisdom to our mouths, along with thinner and smaller lips and perioral wrinkles. Various factors, including age, environment, and genetics, can affect the fullness and texture of your lips. Thankfully, sensational lips are as easy as one-two-three with Symbios Medical Spa’s numerous noninvasive options. After evaluating your lip concerns, our team of experts may recommend one or a combination of the following treatments to help you achieve the lips of your dreams!
ClearLift Laser Lip Rejuvenation
- Lasers can precisely address uneven texture, vertical lines, decreased volume, and loss of elasticity in the lips.
- ClearLift’s state-of-the-art lasers penetrate the tissue of lips to stimulate collagen production, smooth lip lines, and improve definition. The increased blood flow also enhances lip plumpness and color.
- This painless procedure is brief and does not typically have any downtime. Four to six treatments are recommended for the most effective results over four to six weeks.
Lip Fillers: Autologous Fat Transfer
- Fillers are an excellent solution for undefined, small, thin lips that may also have perioral fine lines.
- An autologous fat transfer into the lips involves harvesting fat by microneedling from another area of the patient’s body, typically the abdomen or thighs. After purifying it, it is carefully injected at different levels into numbed lips. The stem cells from the fat rebuild and rejuvenate damaged cells that add lip volume and contour.
- Fat cells naturally fill the lips for a long-lasting enhancement. The risk of allergic reactions is low since it uses the body’s tissue. Downtime for minor swelling and bruising may last two or three days.
Lip Fillers: Hyaluronic Acid-Base Fillers
- Lip fillers are for lips that need more volume and definition.
- These fillers, such as Juvéderm, are made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. Whether you want a subtle enhancement or a more dramatic pout, this treatment is tailored to your desired look.
- The filler attracts and retains moisture, leading to fuller, more hydrated lips. The procedure typically takes about 30 minutes. Although minor swelling and bruising may occur, downtime generally is one to two days.
Microneedling
- Microneedling improves uneven or rough texture and fine lines around the mouth.
- This procedure, also known as collagen induction therapy, creates tiny channels of injury that stimulate healing for smoother, more vibrant lips. Adding PRP can dramatically increase natural collagen production, as PRP’s cytokines and growth factors enhance regeneration.
- Microneedling is minimally invasive, applied to numbed skin, and lasts about an hour, depending on the size of the area treated. The treatment may cause redness and minor swelling for approximately three days of downtime.
Botox Lip Flip
- A Botox lip flip is subtle and ideal for those with lines around the lip area and poor volume.
- This noninvasive cosmetic procedure injects four to five units of Botox into the upper lip. The neurotoxin relaxes the muscles around the lips, which decreases fine lines. The upper lip will flip slightly outward, creating the appearance of a fuller lip without adding filler.
- This treatment has minimal downtime with rare bruising or swelling. It lasts approximately four to six months.
Lip Hydration Treatment
- Intensive moisturization is perfect for rough, dry, chapped, or discolored lips.
- Hydration is offered as an individual treatment or added to a facial. A gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, allowing the moisturizing agents to work more effectively. A combination of nourishing balms and serums rich in hyaluronic acid and vitamins penetrate deep into the skin to restore moisture.
- This treatment leaves lips soft and smooth with no downtime.
